#BDS: Falafel B'aribua eyes New York City

Israeli falafel chain set to launch new location in Big Apple, already scouting for additional NYC spots

Israeli falafel chain Falafel B'aribua ("square") aims to follow in the footsteps of Max Brenner and Aroma cafés and take New York City by storm, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Monday.

The chain, which has eight branches in Israel, plans to add four new local venues in the next few months, alongside its expansion to the United States.

Starting December, falafel-hungry New Yorkers will be able to satisfy their craving by stopping at the corner of 57th Street and Third Avenue, where the first NYC location will be.

Falafel B'aribua's US venues will be called "Kululu," and the owners are already eyeing additional locations in Times Square and Manhattan's Upper West Side.
