Attorney General finds claims against Klein baseless
In a 17 May letter to the Global Frontier Justice Center’s lawyers, a copy of which Klein posted on his website, the Attorney General’s office rejected the claims:
Thank you for your letter to Attorney General Harris concerning the alleged misuse of state resources by Professor David M. Klein. The Department of Justice is committed to upholding and enforcing state laws, and we take allegations like these very seriously.
We have carefully reviewed the letter and materials you sent to this office on April 2, 2012, in which you request we prosecute an alleged misuse of the name and resources of the California State University, Northridge by Dr. Klein. Because we conclude upon review that the evidence provided does not support a finding of misuse of such name and resources, we find no basis for any action on our part.

Report: New 'fly-in' planned for April

JERUSALEM (Ma‘an) 29 Mar -- Pro-Palestinian activists plan to hold a second 'fly-in' to Ben-Gurion International Airport in mid-April, an Israeli newspaper reported Thursday, quoting an organizer.  Mazin Qumsiyeh told The Jerusalem Post that some 1,500 to 2,500 participants from 15 countries were planning to join the initiative, which includes educational and volunteer activities in the West Bank. Last summer Israeli authorities detained and expelled more than 100 people who came on a similar trip. Many others were barred from flight lists by airlines following complaints by Israel. "The point is to show the world that Israel is preventing people from visiting Palestine," Qumsiyeh, an academic at Bethlehem University, told the English-language newspaper. Read more, here.

#Solidarity Massive march organized in Jakarta in support of the Aqsa

JAKARTA, (PIC)-- Tens of thousands took part in a massive rally in front of the UN office in Jakarta in support of the Aqsa mosque and in rejection of the Israeli Judaization of the holy city of Jerusalem. Palestinian MP Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Jamal, who is on a visit to Indonesia which started a few days ago, delivered a speech at the rally warning of a “ferocious Zionist” campaign to Judaize occupied Jerusalem. He underlined that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) was expanding its excavations under the holy Aqsa mosque, changing landmarks and names, and demolishing and confiscating land and property at a rapid, daily pace. Jamal said that the IOA was trying to empty the holy city of its indigenous people topped by their leaders, citing the banishment of Jerusalemite MPs Mohammed Abu Tir and Ahmed Attoun. The MP urged the Arabs, Muslims, and the Indonesian people to act in support of the Palestine cause and to swiftly intervene to defend occupied Jerusalem in face of the Judaization campaign.  Original source.

#BDS: Solidarity with #Palestine: International Days of Action Against the Wall, Vigil of Women in Black, Vienna

November 4, 2011 (Vienna) - Vigil of Women in Black held a vigil yesterday for two hours, dedicated to the Protest against the Wall and in support of the recognition of the State of Palestine. There was enormous interest from passers-by and the reaction of many people, actually many tourists, on the street was positive towards solidarity with Palestine, evidence that things are changing regarding public opinion!
Below are a few photographs. Fifteen people, some handing out flyers, some holding posters, two at the information table were involved in organizing the activity. A film on Bil'in will be screened on the upcoming Wednesday as part of our support.
Several years ago Vigil of Women in Black carried out a signature campaign against the Wall, which was then given to the officials of the Foreign Ministry. They have taken part almost every year in a protest, at least once a year, against the Wall in Palestine. View pictures here.
