#BDS: رامي مارسيل خليفة يحيي حفل موسيقي في رومانيا مع أوركسترا الإحتلال

يبدو أن هذا زمن وجهات النظر:  العمالة وجهة نظر، الخيانة وجهة نظر، التطبيع وجهة نظر، وواجب المقاطعة وجهة نظر أيضاً

أوركسترا الإحتلال التي تمت مقاطعتها أكثر من ثلاث مرات أثناء حفل لها في لندن منذ ما يقارب الثلاثة أسابيع، تعود اليوم كي   تحيي حفلة موسيقية في رومانيا في محاولة منها، وكعادتها، لتبييض جرائم الإحتلال وإظهار إسرائيل بصورة فنية راقية. الملفت أن من يشارك أوركسترا  الإحتلال هذا الحفل - أو بشكل أدق - من يقوم بتسليم المسرح  لأوركسترا الإحتلال بعد انتهاءه من الأداء، فنان ، عربي لبناني إبن فنان عربي لبناني آخر (كان) معروفاً بإلتزامه بالقضية الفلسطينية، هما الفنانان العظيمان رامي ومارسيل خليفة

ما يحصل هنا هو تطبيع ثقافي فني بحت. جلّ ما أعرفه هو أن من يشارك في حفل موسيقي  مع أوركسترا الإحتلال  باسرائيل إنما قد قام بالاعتراف بإسرائيل، وخرق مبدأ المقاطعة، ومارس التطبيع الثقافي والفني معه

#BDS: عن الفن والتطبيع | احذروا الكمين!

لست هنا لأنتقد أو أدافع عن «يبوس». كفنانة فلسطينية مستقلة، أحيي أي مشروع في الوطن الأم والشتات لدعم الثقافة الفلسطينية وللاحتفال بثقافة الآخر. لكنني أكتب هنا بخصوص وصف السيد خالد الغول للفنانين المدعوين للمهرجان بأن «لديهم مواقف واضحة في دعم الشعب الفلسطيني» («الأخبار»، 27/8/2011). بغَض النظر عن رأيي الشخصي والفني بإلهام المدفعي مثلاً، وَجَب عليّ بوصفي فنانة فلسطينية تعمل في المجال الموسيقي في الغرب، أن ألفت حضراتكم إلى معلومة مهمة، أنّ إلهام المدفعي تمت إدارته ودعمه فنياً في الغرب منذ أعوام من مدير فني إسرائيلي صهيوني باسم موشيه مراد. هناك أدلة عديدة متوافرة على الإنترنت.

قبل بضعة أعوام، طُلب مني المشاركة في برنامج إذاعي تابع للطيران البريطاني عن الموسيقى الفلسطينية. عند وصولي إلى الاستوديو، وجدت موشيه مراد هناك. وعند استفساري، قالوا لي إنّ «الموضوعية» تقتضي أن يكون هناك «جانب إسرائيلي» أيضاً. وحدثت مواجهة كبيرة بيني وبين مراد الذي أصرّ على أن «الموسيقى الفلسطينية جزء من الموسيقى الإسرائيلية»، وأن «الفلسطينيين كبقية الأقليات في إسرائيل كالبدو والدروز والشركس»! والنتيجة أنني رفضت أن أكون جزءاً من هذه المهزلة، ولا سيما عندما اكتشفت أنّ الأمر كان كَميناً، وأنّ البرنامج كان عن موسيقى «إسرائيل»، وكان يُفترض أن أكون «ورق الحائط الفلسطيني» للمُحتل والمُستعمِر الثقافي الإسرائيلي، فرفضت.

I am not writing to criticize or defend Yabous, a non-profit organization for the production of performing arts and reviving cultural life in Palestine. As an independent Palestinian artist, I applaud any project that promotes Palestinian culture and celebrates the cultures of others, whether in Palestine or in the diaspora.

But I am writing in light of a statement made by Khaled al-Ghoul, a project coordinator at Yabous, claiming that artists invited to the Yabous festival have clear positions in support of the Palestinian people, something that seems to be undermined by the invitation of Iraqi artist Ilham al-Madfai by Yabous."

#BDS: It's never too late?: "Arab League hosts first 'boycott Israel' meeting in 10 years

"Liaison officials for regional boycott Israel offices have convened their first meeting in over ten years at the Arab League's headquarters in Cairo despite the League holding session in Damascus twice annually. 

This is the first time the Arab League has hosted such a meeting despite sessions being held in Damascus twice annually for over 10 years.

The meeting, which began on September 5th and lasts until the 7th, will discuss the activation of popular and official Arab boycott Israel campaigns and whether such campaigns ought to be popular or governmental. The results of the meeting will be reported in the coming Arab foreign ministers session to be held next week."

#BDS: نقابات العمال البريطانية تقاطع 'الهستدروت' ومؤسسات وشركات إسرائيلية

لندن 14-9-2011 وفا- صوّت مؤتمر اتحاد نقابات العمال البريطانية، الذي يمثل ستة ملايين ونصف عضو بأغلبية كبيرة، اليوم الأربعاء، على توصية رئيسية بـ'مقاطعة نقابات العمال الإسرائيلية 'الهستدروت'، والمؤسسات والشركات التي تعمل  مع المستوطنات  غير القانونية،  وتساعد في بناء الجدار في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة  .

وأدان المؤتمر، القانون 'غير الديمقراطي'، الذي أقره الكنيست الإسرائيلي، والذي يمنع المطالبة بمقاطعة إسرائيل.

وجدد دعمه لحملة منظمة التضامن مع فلسطين،  لتصعيد مقاطعة إسرائيل  .

"Campaigners for Palestinian rights are celebrating after the primary Israeli agricultural produce export company Agrexco, which has been a key target of the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement in support of Palestinian rights, has been ordered into liquidation after being unable to pay its creditors.

Agrexco is a partially state-owned Israeli exporter responsible
for the export of a large proportion of fresh Israeli produce, 
including 60-70% of the agricultural produce grown in Israel’s 
illegal settlements in Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT). In 
a translation of the court documents on the liquidation process 
that the BNC obtained, it is clearly stated that Agrexco acted as 
an arm of the Israeli state, effectively providing state subsidies 
to the agricultural sector. The documents indicate criticism of 
the government for allowing the company to default on its debts 
and also warn that Agrexco is a primary Israeli symbol and that 
its downfall is likely to have great implications."

Australian parliament debate erupts over #BDS. #Australia

"The Australian parliament was up in arms on Tuesday with one of the most heated debates it has witnessed as senators wrangled over their support and opposition to the pro-Palestinian Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and the boycott it is leading against Israeli made products. The debate soon deteriorated to comparisons with the Nazi boycott on Jewish businesses.


The BDS movement is actively seeking to operate against Israel on a global level through various boycotts including on Israeli-made products and companies that operate in Israel. The movement has been active in Australia for some time now with its activists recently participating in demonstrations against the Max Brenner chocolate stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane."

Among the books we read, some go farther than others toward informing our thinking, opinions and actions in the world. These invariably become the books we read and refer to over and over again, the pages dog-eared, passages underlined, margins filled with notes.

BDS: Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions: The Global Struggle for Palestinian Rights by Omar Barghouti, for me, is this kind of book. I purchased it already knowing that I would, in short order, mess it up; cracking the spine, marking passages and filling it with scribbled comments. It exceeded my expectations, proving to be a generously dense and invaluable source of information and inspiration about the call for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel."

#BDS: #WikiLeaks reveal #Oman Reaffirms No Israeli Boycott, Denounces Accusation

"Sayyid Badr agreed that the article appeared to be the product of a journalistic ambush. Noting that he did not recognize the names of the Omani customs officials quoted in the article, Sayyid Badr discounted the alleged comments, even if they did occur, as coming from a low level. Furthermore, he found it strange that the Jerusalem Post would publish such an article, given the fact that Israeli government officials have never expressed dissatisfaction with trade ties to Oman. As recently as the June 6 Middle East Desalination Research Center (MEDRC) executive council meeting, visiting Israeli officials made no mention of boycott or trade concerns to him. He further recalled comments by Israeli Minister of Tourism on a recent international television broadcast dismissing the Arab League boycott as a thing of the past and completely irrelevant."

#BDS: "الداخلية" السعودية تكشف عن شركات تستورد بضائع إسرائيلية بأسماء عربية

أعلنت وزارة الداخلية السعودية عن رصدها لشركات أجنبية تجمعها علاقات تجارية مع جهات إسرائيلية، مضيفة أن هذه الشركات حاولت خلال الأشهر الماضية فرض نشاطها التجاري بالمملكة من خلال عقد اتفاقيات مع جهات حكومية وخاصة لتوريد منتجاتها، في الوقت الذي ثبت أن هذه الشركات هي شركات أجنبية إسرائيلية مشتركة تعمل تحت ستار دول أخرى منها دول عربية.

وحذّرت وزارة الداخلية، في بيان تم تعميمه على مختلف إمارات المناطق ونشرته صحيفة "اليوم" السعودية، "من التعامل مع إحدى الشركات العربية التي تجمعها شراكة مع نظيراتها الإسرائيلية في أنشطة تجارية بالمجال الزراعي القائم على عملية استيراد أسمدة وبذور من منشأ إسرائيلي وتقوم بإعادة تصديرها إلى الخارج, حيث أعلنت عن وجوب حظر التعامل مع هذه الشركات ومثيلاتها بحسب ما تقضي به الأوامر والتعليمات فيما قامت إمارات المناطق بدورها في التواصل مع كافة الجهات الحكومية والخاصة بهذا الخصوص مطالبة بتوخي الحذر والحيطة وعدم الارتباط بمعاملات تجارية مع تلك الشركات الممنوعة".
